this is a place dedicated to all sorts of odd and random knowledge or stuff that looks like knowledge. i like to find stuff out. i wouldn't recommend using this in a research paper though (ha) seeing as it is only a curiosity-full endeavor of quite an amateur!
for now, articles:
the celesta: a very lovely & cute musical instrument (my favorite) that plays sounds like very tiny bells, glimmering and sparkly-sounding. known for its part in "the dance of the sugarplum fairy" in tchaikovsky's ballet the nutcracker.
coming soon:
19th century curiosity cabinets: very popular in the day, cabinet things full of very odd and exotic specimens. collected by rude old gentlemen and young horse-riding blokes alike, and probably admired by ladies who called at their houses.
