I'm Laura. I like journals and books and Lord of the Rings and the Beatles. I'm fifteen and I think I have a photo fetish, on top of one for paper and journals. I love that all books smell different.

I've loved taking pictures for a very very long time; photographs and videos. Some of it is thanks to my Dad, who takes pictures a lot when he goes up north.

I like glimpses. Sort of like looking through a keyhole wearing snowboots and seeing the warm glow inside, bright and magic light that you feel blessed for catching an inkling of.

I'm a happy girl who likes quotes and makes constant movie references and who likes very much to do impressions of hobbits. Sometimes, I have second breakfast. I find that it's best to have on the road enjoying the journey going somewhere.

I speak broken French and fluent Gibberish.

Three Winks means a moment. I was looking for a name for a photolog and under "moment" was listed "three winks" on thesaurus.com, and it glimmered and stayed - for now. :)

I love photologs! I love their specific photolog-y layouts and the whole concept of daily glimpses into someone's life. Be sure to look at the links for the photologs that have inspired this one a whole lot!

Digital pictures are taken with a Kodak EasyShare CX6200 camera (named E.T.), and others are taken with a Canon film camera and scanned in. How do you tell which is which? The clearest are probably taken with the film camera. But I love both. :)

Photos are taken in Rhode Island and sometimes Connecticut and Massachusetts unless otherwise noted. :)
